Pharmacy First – Common Illness Scheme
In line with the upcoming launch of the national Pharmacy First Service (EXTERNAL PDF LINK), the Lambeth Pharmacy First Service is now called “Lambeth Pharmacy First Plus” service.
The Lambeth Pharmacy First Plus service is available to Lambeth residents or people registered with a Lambeth GP practice to receive support with the management of minor conditions via a community pharmacy. The service is provided across 31 community pharmacies in Lambeth and enables people from the most deprived sections of the population to obtain over the counter (OTC) treatments free of charge for the management of minor conditions.
GP practices are encouraged to signpost eligible patients to community pharmacies to access the service for the management of minor conditions and to obtain OTC treatments where appropriate, patients can also be referred to the service via the GP Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS).
Further information can be found in the Pharmacy First poster (EXTERNAL PDF LINK) and on the local website.
