We have put mechanisms in place to plan as best as possible for any additional demand, however if your appointment need is routine in nature, you may have a slightly longer wait for treatment. Patients should only call 999 if seriously ill or injured, and there is risk to life. Ambulances will be dispatched where clinically appropriate.
